Life on the Farm

Our family has lived on this farm for five generations. It was originally purchased in the late 1800's. Although most of the family has grown up and moved away, many return with their children to enjoy summertime on the farm, continuing the legacy started over a century ago. Swimming, fishing, and morning chats on the front porch are an integral part of our summer days, and over the last 40 years, basset hounds have shared this life on the farm.

The little red house was home to my grandparents and their first four children.

The milking barn. On the heels of the Great Depression, it became the make-shift home of a family member who’s husband was serving in WWIl.
